Chafi is a renowned lawyer and activist, he is currently the Human Rights Adviser in Charge of African Union Matters UN-Human Rights, East Africa Regional Office. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B) from the prestigious Abidjan University School of Law, Abidjan Cote D’Ivoire, He holds a Master’s Degree in Law, (Business and Corporate law) and also another Master’s Degree in International Development Studies, from the Clark University,
Worcester. He has Overall experience, in access to justice, rule of Law, Human Rights Promotion and Protection, in Democracy building, in economic and social development project design and implementation, Infrastructure finance and Governance. He is also vastly experienced in policy analysis, policy design and implementation for participatory poverty alleviation.
